Hi folks

I am currently working on the 100% explored EotN map.

There is a strange spiky region between Grothmar and Dalada, which on my map looks as shown on attachment 1.

Then I found a 100% map from TC fish and it looks like attachment 2.

I have no clue how to uncover all that area, has anybody done it?

Or if not, can anybody with full MotN points confirm that this region is not needed for max carto points?

You can't totally explore it. The map on TC Fish is a defogged map, not a 100% explored map. Very different. Trust me on this, I have 101 from cartography in GWEN.

Defogged means that an outside program has been used to get rid of the fog everywhere, no matter if it's actually possible to explore the area in game.

would be helpful if the people that have 226 (which is after todays update) would post screenshots of all the uncovered EoTN areas and/or the areas with a carography mod so we can compare :P

If someone would do that itd be much appreciated!!

Could you please tell us where you got that additional point from? I've done a fine job exploring and I'm at 100 points for cartography still. Would you even need that point to complete the MotN title or is it a little leeway like with the other explorer titles?

Thanks for the info about the addon. Sadly that makes that map totally useless for exploring

Does anyone know of availabe 100% maps? There is one other on guildwiki, but I already have a lot more explored patches than that map and I am only at 334 points.

Also any advise from people who have the full 101 carto points would be highly welcome. For example, did you get anything from wall-hugging in the outposts? Or do you remember what the last spots were for you guys, etc.

It's leeway. The other cartography titles have it as well, they just don't record past 100%. Uh, and I got all my points by wall hugging every zone (including outposts) and entering portals. Sometimes there's a little bit past the portal you can only reveal if you enter it yourself.
